Whitney Houston and Jermaine Jackson’s Secret Love Affair Details

According to a new report in the London Sun, the late Whitney Houston and Jermaine Jackson had an affair that lasted for a year in the early 1980s.

The affair happened before Houston was a music superstar and while Jackson was still married to Motown founder Berry Gordy’s daughter, Hazel.

When Houston passed away in a Beverly Hills hotel room last month at age 48, Jackson was so devastated he couldn’t fathom the thought of attending her New Jersey funeral.

Jackson, 56, has acknowledged in the past that he and Houston were very attracted to each other when the two recorded a duet nearly 30 years ago. However, he has always denied they were intimate.

Jackson wrote in his memoir, “ultimately, we had to go our separate ways and it killed us both.”

Jackson claims his younger brother, the late Michael Jackson, advised him to ignore his temptations and stay faithful to his wife Hazel.

But according to the Sun, a source claims that Jermaine gave into his temptations and eventually broke Whitney’s heart.

“They were lovers,” according to the friend. “In those early days with Whitney, he was smuggled into her hotel rooms, they worked extra late in the studio and she even had a codename for him.”

The romance eventually ended in 1984 when Jermaine refused to leave the mother of his three children. The following year, Whitney released a cover of the song “Saving All My Love For You,” with a Jermaine Jackson look-alike starring in the music video.

Jackson eventually divorced Hazel and remarried while Houston ended up in a disastrous marriage with the infamous Bobby Brown.

The two reportedly stayed close over the years and Houston helped comfort him after the passing of his brother Michael Jackson.
