LeAnn Rimes says she has no regrets about her affair with Eddie Cibrian according to an article in US Weekly. She says that her decision to cheat on husband Dean Sheremet and have an affair with Eddie Cibrian is complicated and people shouldn’t rush to judgment.

She tells In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville that “what happened is not who I am, period. But I know how much I love him. I’ve always said I don’t live my life with regret. I can’t.”

It’s funny that of all the people in the world she could have chosen from, she had to choose someone’s husband.

LeAnn, 28 and Eddie, 37, had an off-camera affair last year while shooting the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights. LeAnn was married to Dean, a dancer and Eddie was married to Brandi Glanville, a model with whom he had 2 kids.

When asked about the affair, LeAnn said “It happens every day to so many people. And if I take away my album sales, my words… you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn’t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love. I can’t change [critics] minds. Nothing I’m going to say is going to change it. I do know that and I have accepted that.”

Eddie then also decides to join the conversation and openly talks about falling in love with LeAnn for the first time.

“The truth is that we’re human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we’re human. We fell in love,” Eddie says.

He continues on saying, “We’re talking about something that’s over a year, year-and-a-half old, really, and we’re still together, and we’re madly in love. And I think people are finally seeing that, but it doesn’t mean that people will accept it or the tabloids will stop trying to print lies and try to tear us apart or tear us down.”

Rimes then chimes in, “We’re really happy in what we feel privately. We hope [that] one day, I think people will feel [that] publicly.”

Contrary to other reports, LeAnn doesn’t start crying and defending herself. She starts crying when the interviewer asks about her book What I Cannot Change. Yes, people, she has actually written a book about her infidelities.

LeAnn then cries about her music career saying, “That was my life!! I’m learning who I am without it and that’s the coolest thing about my life right now.”

“I *** thank God. I don’t know how I could have handled it, but I have and I’m still here. And that’s… that’s saying a lot, you know?”

Oh LeAnn, your life must be so hard. Poor Dean. I sure hope you’ve moved on cause LeAnn does not deserve you at all.

Leann not only cheated on this poor guy but then she goes on television to talk about it and how she doesn’t regret it. Then she goes on to talk about her book that she wrote about her affair. She tops it all of by crying about how hard her life is.

LeAnn, you met a cute actor with dimples, charming (I’m sure), and MARRIED. Oh and you’re married yourself but decided that your husband just wasn’t cutting it for you. So you chose to cheat and now you’re on a rampage defending yourself and your actions because the general public really dislikes you now.

We all make mistakes. It happens. But don’t go on public television to defend your actions. LeAnn, you’re wrong! There is no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

A note to celebrities: the public does not like cheaters especially when you’re a celebrity. Studies have shown that even people who are involved in extramarital affairs don’t condone cheating. Here’s a tip: If you’re going to cheat, cheat with a single person and don’t go on television trying to justify your actions.
