High levels of generosity are predictive of a stronger relationship. Take this quiz to see how generous you are in your relationship!

2. How often do you express respect or admiration to your partner?

3. How often do you perform small acts of kindness for your partner (like making him or her coffee in the morning)?

4. How often do you forgive your partner for his or her mistakes and failings?

Now, add up your score, based on the points for each answer:

Point System for Results:

A. Very Generous! (A=17 or more)

You are a very generous person in your relationship! You put the “us” in generous! High levels of generosity usually mean a very happy relationship.

B. Somewhat Generous (B=15-16)

Your relationship has average levels of generosity, but there is room for improvement! You and your partner could benefit from more expressions of love or acts of kindness.

C. Not Generous (C=14 or lower)

You are less generous than the average person in a committed relationship. Making more of an effort to do nice things for your partner could help improve your relationship quality.
